No joke, he actually said this...
How ridiculous is this?
This ridiculous...(If you know your Star Trek then you'll know an emotionless android, above, when you see one)
yeah, but what is the bottom picture of?
He is such a pathological liar that he has to lie about who and what he is.
He is such a pathological liar that he has to lie about who and what he is.
You da Pig!
The top picture is of a emotionless donkey
To most progressives i.e. the average MSMer or Democrat, Barack is not a particularly ideological person. It is all matter of perspective. If you believe in socialism and an “active” centralized government, Barack is just your average pol.
He had to lie about who he really was in order to be elected in the first place.
My lesbian Democrat cousin warned me that the “right wing extremist religious KKK” was all over Cincinnati. “There are no conservatives like me (her) there.” I was left breathless. That’s really her view. She’s conservative...
Looks like more and more people are waking to the fact that we have a radical as President. Thus the denials.
Hell, he's not even particularly real..
Mr. Harvard graduate, you should have said, "There'RE things, some values I feel PASSIONATE about."
Also, he gets to pick his battles. Whatever he "believes" about some topic doesn't automatically show up on the agenda. Because he's not doing everything he might like all the time, he can think of himself as pragmatic. Someone else who's committed to holding the line on something looks ideological to Obama, because that person doesn't have the option of choosing when and where to fight.
When Obama is rigid or unyielding he sees it as the way things are supposed to be. Look at his comment about last month's stand-off, "I shouldn't have to offer anything" to the Republicans. That might look rigid, unyielding, or ideological to people who hear it, but to President Obama it's just the way things are. It's the other people who should yield or compromise.
To Obama, this isn't "ideological." I have to wonder if it might be personal. Maybe, as so many people say, it's part of a sense of entitlement or narcissism. Maybe it's a sign of contempt for the other side. Perhaps it's just stubbornness.
Or maybe it is partisan, rather than "ideological." The line between the two is pretty thin. Partisanship can be as ferocious and unyielding as ideology, and some people who think themselves unideological can be as pig-headed and intransigent as the most committed ideologues.
“not a particularly ideological person”
He is an “especially ideological person”
He doesn’t even know what that means.
He's spent his whole life among idealogues. He doesn't have a non-ideological point of reference to use.
