Palin Blasts Media Hypocrisy Over Bashir Comments
Truth Revolt ^ | 11/25/2013

On Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Sarah Palin responded to the outrageous statements that MSNBC's Martin Bashir had made earlier this month during his program, during which he said that someone should "p*ss" and "s***" on Palin's face. Palin said:

Everybody in life takes shots. You have a decision to make when you take a shot. Are you going to become bitter or better? In a case like this, you  know, I don't have to accept his words - his vile, evil comments - so they don't have to affect me. I move on and I charge forth.

Palin went on to say that if the media-elite broadened their attacks towards a vulnerable, defenseless child who isn't in the position to defend themselves like a public figure, you would see a "mama grizzly get riled up and slap that person down." But as for her, she says, "I can take it."

Host Chris Wallace played a clip of Martin Bashir's apology and then asked Palin if she accepted his apology and also wanted her reaction to MSNBC taking no public action against Bashir for these graphic statements, as they did with Alec Baldwin for his homophobic slurs. Palin slammed the media's hypocrisy:

Well that's the exact hypocrisy that is so prevalent in that media-elite bubble where it depends on the target of the vile rants. It doesn't depend on what their rant itself actually is. And conservative women are a target of them. As for the apologies, well obviously, you know, who am I to not accept an apology. Everyone must humble themselves and accept that offer of apology.

She also offered a suggestion to those who may want to slander her in the future and then offer an apology:

As for the apologies, the next time that they want to say such a thing and then get the attention that they were seeking after they've said it and then they want to call and apologize to me in private - I'd like them to go through, say, Todd first, or one of my children first. Leave a message with them. Hear what they have to say about it and then they can come to me.

Martin Bashir and his arrogant, liberal media cronies could never ignore their own agenda against conservative women long enough to humble themselves, let alone sincerely apologize for their all-out assaults.

I really don’t consider MSNBC as being a serious part of the “media”. it’s nothing more than a freak show for leftwing radicals. The majority of its audience is either drunk or on drugs as they watch.

I don’t know why Todd doesn’t do something. Years ago, Johnny Carson was making nightly jokes about Wayne Newton (snarks that he was gay). Newton had had enough and went to NBC studios in LA and got as far as John’s secretary’s desk before security and various top executives intervened. The jokes stopped!

I watched the Chris Wallace interview Sunday and as much as I admire Palin, geez I wish to hell she would stop the stupid mama grizzly references.

If she ever expects to be taken seriously, she needs to can that lame junk.
