This certainly sounds like a miscarriage of justice. Something presented during the trial must have been very persuasive in order to gain his conviction.

In the past we have had presidents who pardon this man.

They want to make enlisting so unpopular that they have to reinstate the draft.

After 12 years of this sh!t in Afghanistan and Iraq, I think anyone who enlists in the U.S. armed forces is out of his or her mind.

If I recall this case, there was eyewitness testimony against him by members of his platoon as well as his interpreter.

I may be thinking of another case because the one I’m thinking of was in the 101st Airborne, not the Rangers. But the guys name and what he claimed happen sound similar.

At the worst it sounds like justifiable homicide, personally I’d give him a medal.

I think our soldiers for the most part are as good as ever but the difference is this would never have happened during WWII.

It’s time that the American military to realize that they are nothing but toys in the hand of a spoiled child. Come home. Your family and loved ones need you... and the real enemy is here in the States.
Protect the homeland...

Just goes to show that the rules of engagement for the military are much stricter than those of the “militarized” police.
