I had cancer last year, so far so good. It’s not something I’d recommend but it certainly helps you focus on what’s important in life.
God bless you and grant you health.
Yes you are in The Lord’s hands. May he continue to watch over you and keep you in good health.
Psalm 91
1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.
Wishing you the best.
Awesome news pal...have a quick recovery.
Congratulations on your good news!
As a 33 year survivor of metastatic malignant melanoma, your story makes me happy!! Congratulations!
After my pneumonectomy I was offered adjuvant chemotherapy. I never considered passing it up. That would be like winning a war and then surrendering unconditionally to the enemy. The sacrifice of my lung would have been rendered a waste. I wasn’t about to let cancer be my Vietnam.
God bless you. I hope to see you around for a very long time.
So glad you are doing well! Prayers up for your continued blessings.
Be sure and research Oncotype testing of your excised tumor. It is a genetic test that determines if chemo will be affective against your specific tumor.
Chemo would not have had any affect on my tumor and I was glad that I KNEW ahead of time. I did not have to endure the side effects of chemo for no purpose (and kept my hair)!
God bless!

Thank you for your prayers and information. Really appreciated. Glad you have fought the fight with breast cancer.
It seems Oncotype is only for breast cancer. Mine is appendix, or colon generally.
Chemo is not to be taken lightly, it will damage something. I have anemia, low BP, and balance loss, and I had a reletively low number of treatments. Gotta keep drinking, gatorade is good but at least a liter a day. I will never forget those days in the treatment room.
Agreed. I opted for “extreme chemo” because I really had no other choice. As the years pass, the side effects do seem to subside.
