The worst are old Democrat mouthpieces, such as Doug Schoen on Hannity last night, who keep repeating the mantra, “ObamaCare is the law of the land.” Well, so was HillaryCare, until the old folks took out after Rostenkowski with their canes and chased him down the street when he was trying to sell that turkey. That law was repealed, until it was resuscitated by Obama, a fact that should be thrown into Hillary’s face when she runs in ‘16.

Are we so weak that we can’t do what those elderly folks did in the ‘90s?

Just a thought: if 2014 is a good tea party election, and Cruz were to win the 16 nomination, a lot of the power within the GOP would be shifted by definition. Reagan didn’t change the party then get the nomination…his nomination and subsequent victory changed the party.

Every once in awhile I take a short visit over to DU to see what’s up. I’m no expert at browsing that website but, IMHO, it seems like they are avoiding discussion of Obamacare like it was the plague, which of course it is.

Is DU in denial? I think so.

Had a little debate with a guy who works for my husband. When he became trapped with the truth he pulled out the “Cheney big oil”, “wealthy Walmart” and “rich insurance” cards. He is a black “disabled” Marine, (the government painted his office with lead-based paint and it caused arthritis) he is in incredible shape, works out every day. He will go to his grave defending every lie Obama has ever told. I want him fired.

Ask them what the ideological difference is between not denying people for pre existing conditions and reimbursing me for my share of the medical expenses I paid for my wife’s cancer that killed her ten years ago? There’s no sense to the question but it sounds “fair” and, besides, I could use the cash.

Good point that an alternative medical reform needs to be found but most alternatives involve government and government is the problem, not the solution.

The Alternative is to allow retainer fee medicine to flourish at the grassroots level while government ‘healthcare’ apparatchiks continue to dig their hole. To facilitate this we need a law that protects private practice completely against any federal government interference including any form of mandates. Local regulation is fine to enforce practice standards but federal government involvement needs to be made extinct and unconstitutional.

How could it be denial when there is so much Republican backing for Obama-style politics?

You presume that they are failing - from my understanding of their goals, they are being wildly successful.

They are persisting in “failure” because they are not failing.

What they are doing now is burning bridges to what existed before. By 2015, their goal is not that “Obamacare” be functional - it is that the old system will have been damaged beyond repair, so that it cannot be restored no matter who is in power.

They never intended “Obamacare” to work, they intended it to destroy. And that, it is doing.

America can survive a Barack Obama, but it cannot survive an electorate who would vote for him twice.

It really doesn’t matter if they admit their mistake or not, because they are definitely going to be paying for it in spades for a long time to come.

"....the only agenda our party 'leadership' in the House and Senate currently have is to carry Obama's water. As opportunity to act as savior to America presents itself, John Boehner clearly isn't up to the task intellectually, or otherwise."

A sad state of affairs.

False pride is the worst of all sins.

The wages of sticking with such pride, are darkness and death on a large scale.

If you want to “end all wars,” then give up such pride, and give all your achievements to God.

In other words, salvation is by giving all glory to God.

That is why, false pride is the worst -— surrendering it is the most difficult for you.

*That* is why leftists/liberals sell so many bottles of such snake oil -— to keep you burdened/down; and upon their next circuit ride thru your life, the same snake oil sales-politicos sell you government as the antidote.

Thus, it is thru your pride, that you are staked and find that you owe some kind of debt/servitude in exchange for favors.

The antidote is *not* making a shrine, an idealogy out of such pride and demanding that your burdens must be paid for by others.

Instead, the antidote is to surrender your pride to God.

I’m tired and disagree with the mantra that this mess is to take from the young to pay for the old. It is misleading and aids the cause of class warfare. I’m in the last 5 years before medicare. My insurance has been canclled, a good 3000 deductible 80/20 BCBS policy. Anything remotely comparable is MUCH more costly. The premise is wrong. EVERYONE who is paying anything is paying MORE so that others who pay little or nothing are subsidized with some form of equality though medicade still perists. No they young are not paying for the old they are just paying for redistribution and socialism.

Could it be that the intention of obamacare is to further divide and drive a wedge of greed, fear and envy between young and old? Let’s face it, the only true objective of any obastard policy or action is to tear apart anything which is and radically change the nation.

He said he would radically change the nation and he told us how he would but the sheeple only heard what they wanted. They heard how redistribution would benefit them and didn’t get the part about how socialism tears down everything to the lowest common denominator and destroys hope. Hope is the vision the greatness of the republic is built on. Destroy that and you’ve radically transformed the nation.

Just what is being done with all this money that is being generated? The poor were already being taken care of with some money from somewhere. This is just an ADDITIONAL tax. The combined tax increase and obastard care surtax on capital gains is a 50% INCREASE in revenue from capitol gains taxes. If there are ever any capitol gains to be made this is a masive amount of money. An additional 8.8% of all profits in the nation!

Obastard’s willing accomplics are a protected class and his supporters think they are as well. The supporters are wrong of course.
