This was announced on Wednesday at the 10th anniversary of Biopolis.
President Tony Tan Keng Yam, who was the chairman of the Life Sciences Ministerial Committee in 2003, officially opened the research hub that year.
Today, it is one of the more notable centres for biomedical research, globally.
