My former boss and mentor used to always say “Be careful when you point your finger at someone because you’ll notice you have three fingers pointing back at you.” Suddenly, I could hear his admonition as I was thinking about the lack of leadership on display from our government, especially from the White House.
Being a Democracy, there is no one to blame for the leadership we have because We the People voted them in place. So although they may be responsible to a point, with the three fingers of self-indictment, We The People must accept three times the responsibility.
In this information age with computers, Ipads, Smart Phones, the internet which now has 7 out of ten Americans participating, there’s little excuse for not knowing. Yes, you can argue that there were lies or deceptions and that the main-stream media...

Pointing fingers at the guilty and calling them out and removing them from office in the next election... all due to their treason... is better than pointing tear gas and dogs at them.
Well, Freepers have made noises both here and locally about how bad these cads are.
What is heard less is the voice of God. We can complain about what’s wrong. God can admonish about what’s right, and not even “conservatism as we know it” rises to the divine pinnacle.
1) We are a representative republic, not a democracy.
2) Provided you voted for people who are not causing this damn mess, you get to point the finger righteously all you want.
3) The writer assumes that our elections aren’t rigged by either outright fraud or by buying votes through those who have no skin in the game but take from those who do and don’t see a point in protecting personal liberty because they gave theirs up already.
“Vote different next time.” Is one of the arguments that makes me want to scream at people. That is a gross misrepresentation of the problems we face.

Let’s face it. We’re an unloving society because we give short shrift to an actual Lord of love. We talk nice things about Him in church but never let Him grip our own heart.

Stopped reading right there. Although Barry O'Cades is pretty much completely ignoring it, this country is a Constitutional Republic. We elect representatives to speak for us and rely upon our Founding Documents for guidance.
A Democracy is nothing more than three wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. It wastes their time and it annoys the wolves.
Never is a long time and is an absolute term. I may love my enemies as the LORD commands but I can also fight them when they go against the LORD and the gifts that HE has bestowed upon us.
I realized the futility long ago of attempting to 'work within the system' and 'vote them out of office' long ago. Bloody hell, if T. "Schwimmer" Kennedy is allowed to make a living as a professional politician with no culpability, BJ Clintoon and mrs bill are still running about without those orange jumpsuits they so richly deserve, and gerrymandering leaves us stuck with the likes of Moonbeam "Welcomes Illegals" Brown, and Nan "we need to pass it anyway" Pelosi, there is no chance at all of any honest person to obtain any sort of fair representation in this sort of rigged environment!
