I disagree. MGs do have their place as area weapons that cant easily be replaced by semis. I wouldn’t categorize are weapons as ‘spray/pray’.
If you’re talking SAW, absolutely. But that’s a different animal (like battlefield). Area suppression vs cqb. Btw good luck getting a M249.
