Its time to repeal the National Firearms Act of 1934. The Second Amendment requires it and the American people demand it be done now! The elite in society dont want you to know that since 1934, there appear to have been at least two homicides committed with legally owned automatic weapons.
One was a murder committed by a law enforcement officer (as opposed to a civilian). On September 15th, 1988, a 13-year veteran of the Dayton, Ohio police department, Patrolman Roger Waller, then 32, used his fully automatic MAC-11 .380 caliber submachine gun to kill a police informant, 52-year-old Lawrence Hileman.
Patrolman Waller pleads guilty in 1990, and he and an accomplice were sentenced to 18 years in prison. The 1986 ban on sales of new machine guns does not apply to purchases by law enforcement or government agencies. This is illegal and hypocritical.
Because of the elitists being mental midgets, despite the sterling record of auto-weapons owners for over fifty years, and despite: registration, police approval, state approval, special taxes, waiting periods, and extensive background checks, in 1986, ownership of newly manufactured automatic weapons was and still is prohibited to civilians. This is a direct violation of the Second Amendment!
Every American has the right to bear arms: (Including Fully Automatic Firearms). A citizen must be armed just like any military member servingfor people to be truly protected from any oppressive government. And if you think that the government has tanks, airplanes, nuclear submarines, etc. So the forces are not going to be equal anyway think again; it takes just a moderate level of resistance to make a big war impractical/impossible (see how much trouble the US Armed Forces have in Afghanistan, for example).
Tyrants, Progressives, Communists, Liberals, etc., will only understand the importance of being armed if they are attacked. Maybe even then they might not be very bright and cry, Oh government, protect me. And that cry for help will not come guaranteed.
I consider the anti-gun types (Liberals) as much a threat today as terrorists are! Truth!!!
The ban on these was purely political. Before the ban and even before the NFA was passed these had little to no use in crime due to their cost of ownership. Between the passage of the NFA (where they started tracking these weapons) and the passing of the Hughes act as I mentioned earlier only 2 murders had been committed with these weapons.
There is no legal or good reason for full autos to be banned in the U.S. Criminals do not use them which make the law an ineffective and illegal restriction of our Second Amendment Right. Here it is; Fully Automatic Weapons should be legal now. Our Constitution demands that firearms should be legal for the protection for the citizens of the United States. By banning the Fully Automatic Weapons, we as Americans are allowing the elitists to dictate we do not care about the Constitution. Now, we are allowing them to say that we are not bound by our own Constitution.
Time is of the essence my fellow Patriots/Americans. We must all take a stand and force those corrupt individuals in government to obey us the way it was intended from the beginning of this great nation.
He was also the only guy in the ETO with a Marine camo helmet cover. Which wasn't a good idea because it looked German camo helmet covers.
When it comes to the RKBA, the federal government, every branch, demonstrates rank dishonesty.
Whether it is in keeping with the 2nd Amendment or not, the NFA by itself did not ban full autos.
I don’t get too worked up about this because if there ever comes a time when I feel that I need a fully automatic weapon, it will be when the courts and laws have fully collapsed. The solution then will be to locate a cop who is a member of the SWAT Team and relieve him of his current weapons (which will be fully operable and have all the latest gadgets properly mounted) , ammunition supplies, communication electronics and anything else that I determine will be possibly useful. Until that time I prefer that the players are people who can afford the $200 tag to buy a sub/machine gun.
It would be nice, but it ain’t gonna happen.
The requirement for a license negates the right and replaces it with “privilege.”
It will happen, it’s just a matter of time.
Thanks for that bit of trivia about the helmet cover.
You've got that right, unfortunately.
The US Prosecutor essentially lied to the USSC justices and since Mr. Miller or his co-defendant Mr. Stevens could not afford to make the trip nor did he hire counsel, there was no one there to refute whatever the prosecutor said. So he lied. The justices never questioned his arguments. The NFA was upheld.
From Unintended Consequences:
The Second Amendment is a recognition of the danger of standing armies. Its purpose is to recognize that every citizen has the right to keep and bear the same type of basic arms as a soldier in a modern military.
A militia embodies all able-bodied men over the age of sixteen. Therefore, a militia will always outnumber a standing army by at least twenty to one. If this militia is armed with weapons similar to those used by the individuals comprising the standing army, it will be impossible for that standing army to inflict the will of a tyrannical government upon the people.
The Second Amendment is the guarantee behind all the other articles in the Bill of Rights. It is the ultimate guarantee that citizens in the United States will remain free.
Honesty it just wastes ammo. Well aimed shots are far superior to a spray and pray technique. I’m just saying. I don’t think that the government should involved in determining the rate of fire for weapons. But I do just fine with a semi.
Some apologists have said it wasn't a standard helmet cover, but rather one Saunders improvised from D-Day camo parachutes.
But it was a standard helmet cover.
I disagree. MGs do have their place as area weapons that cant easily be replaced by semis. I wouldnt categorize are weapons as ‘spray/pray’.
Battlefield pick/ups.
“Trophies to Be Made Legal in Program Under National Firearms Act
Machineguns and machine pistols, war trophies of foreign make, must be registered and deactivated to bring their possessons within the law.
For this purpose Treasury Department operatives will establish offices at police headquarters this morning and will maintain a 12-hour schedule for the next three days, from 9:00 a. m to 9:00 p. m.
Veterans possessing any firearm of foreign make can qualify themselves to keep their souvenirs lawfully by bringing them to police headquarters on any of the days today through Thursday.
After registrations, deactivation of the weapons makes them unserviceable but in no way mars the appearance of the guns as souvenirs. All guns are duly returned to their owners. Registration of guns is a nationwide program. Investigations made in recent months under the National Firearms Act have a bearing on the risk and problem of exceptionally dangerous war trophy weapons, brought or shipped to this country by veterans, falling into unauthorized hands by theft or unrecorded transfer and being put to unlawful uses never intended or contemplated by the veteran.
Already there have been committed a large number of major crimes in various sections of the country, where foreign automatic weapons, introduced as war trophies or souvenirs were used. The drive of the Treasury Department is aimed at preventing these weapons and firearms from falling into the hands of gangsters, racketeers, bank robbers and other types of criminals.”[BALONEY!]
“The Alcohol Tax Unit, Bureau of Internal Revenue, is charged with the enforcement of the National Firearms Act, which provides a penalty not to exceed $2,000 or imprisonment not to exceed five years, or both, in the event a person is convicted of violating any provisions of the Act. Veterans, register your foreign weapons today!

“And all they have to do is apply for a Federal Firearms License.”
Not true. The 1986 “Firearms Owners Protection Act” set a ceiling on the number of fully auto guns that could be owned by citizens.
That limit has driven the prices of the legal guns through the roof. A gun that would cost $700 on the open market now goes for tens of thousands of dollars.
Exactly, the latest and greatest our money can buy.
