My husband had a permit to carry--here in California. He had to go through A LOT to get it but it was a great thing to have. He felt an awesome kind of burden, but a good kind. I felt MUCH safer with him, even though I KNEW that he could beat the tar of out of 99% of all other human beings.
The exception, of course, would be Ethel Merman. :o)
