Some people won’t like anything Sen. Ted Cruz says. The do not like him on the Hill, they do not like him passing bills. Plenty were touched, though, when his filibuster turned into a bedtime story for his daughters. Isn’t that breaking the rules by going off topic? No, says Cruz, because he’s doing what he’s doing for the children. Adults can enjoy it too, though.

The best part was relating it to Obamacare. When asked if he wanted Obamacare he said, “I do not want it in a car, I do not want it in a jar,” (or so such thing) - very funny !

This makes me sort of worried for Cruz; the left is gonna cruficy him and then boil him alive until his skin comes off over this.

Nobody else wants it, either. I wish there’d be more support for him.
The problem is that Obama has the insurance industry on his side. It’s no longer a competitive market, they can charge what they want and the taxpayer will have to come through, and they have to provide no important services but lots of minor optional stuff (contraceptives, for example) that anybody could pay for.
That’s why there’s not more opposition to this.
Cruz should start reading from the Bible. That will really send the left wing wacko birds into a tizzy.

Others have suggested the best way to get this dead on topic is to simply read the Obastardcare law aloud.
Don’t be worried. The leftists (including RINOs) have been working overtime mocking Cruz.
They may be successful in destroying him, but Cruz has his place in history for standing up for the Constitution and the American people.
I’ve been watching his filibuster from the start and will probably fall asleep watching him. He’s handling it well.
I suggested ti my husband that he read the obamacare bill - all of it.

This man has courage in spades, it would be helpful if we all did.
I sent Teds staff a note indicating my rate increases and the worthless new provisions and deterioration of my coverage.
Every one should do so. He will have more interesting things to talk about for the next few hours.
PS - I love Madrid, been there twice in the last two years, can't wait to go back.
