White House Says It’s “Largely Irrelevant” Where Obama Was During Benghazi
Mr. Conservative ^ | 9/24/13 | Mr. Conservative

Last fall, the White House and its lapdog media made it clear that nothing had happened in Benghazi other than an overblown protest about a video. To question this version of events proved only that Obama’s opponents were obsessive, vindictive, and paranoid. What a difference a Congressional hearing can make.

The last round of Congressional hearings revealed what conservatives had suspected all along: the tragedy in Benghazi could have been avoided entirely if Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had taken seriously Ambassador Stevens’ repeated requests for greater security. Although Hillary has fended off Congressional questions about her behavior, emerging evidence suggested that Hillary’s political allegiance to the Obama narrative meant that she had to accept as true Al Qaeda’s defeat, and therefore couldn’t acknowledge that Al Qaeda was still a security risk.

The drunken captain of the boat in Alaska wasn’t even at the wheel when it spilled that oil.

Americans are dead as a result of Obama’s negligence.

Hillary’s political allegiance to the Obama narrative meant that she had to accept as true Al Qaeda’s defeat, and therefore couldn’t acknowledge that Al Qaeda was still a security risk.

That’s the problem with reality, it tends to break
your rose colored glasses, with regularity.

White Hut is WRONG, again, because *at this time, it STILL matters* where 0bammy was during Benghazi attack.

I am thinking that a better comparison with previous scandals would be between Benghazi and Abu Grhaib. The Democrats were so outraged by how those prisoners were treated, and none of them were even killed. Where is their outrage when Americans are wronged?

I admit that I am not as familiar with Abu Grhaib as I should be. What do Freepers think of this idea?

Now that he has been reelected, I have to agree. Short of impeachment, what relevance can be made on such an impervious ego.

strange ain't it?

if you speak out against obamacare, or challenge him in public, they hustle you out of the room, or find a way to IRS harass you or some other et cetera.

but if you accuse him of being under a table giving .... or bent over receiving ... no one says a thing.

Obama is in touch with national command authorities where ever he is, so to that extent, location doesn’t matter.

Since there was no status of forces agreement in place with the ‘host’ country, to send military forces would have required a positive order from the president. Without the status of forces agreement, stand down is the default.

Obama never gave the order to go.

Unbelievable! An attack on an American embassy is the same as an attack on the USA and its irrelevant to know what the POTUS was doing at the time? The heroes who died at Benghazi had the same mindset as the Texans who gave their lives at the Alamo. These men died waiting for reinforcements which never came. The GOP and the T Party should be publicizing Benghazi at every opportunity in an attempt to enlighten the illiterate American voters.
