At request of the Kenyan government “Israeli special forces now operating to try and end Nairobi Mall siege." It's interesting to watch how the free world responds in a post-American Obama world.

Among those killed yesterday in the jihad attack aginst Kenya by the devout Muslim group, al-Shabbab, was a Canadian diplomat, the Kenyan president’s nephew and his fiancé, and Ghana’s leading poet. Three British, two French, one Australian and one Chinese citizen also confirmed dead.

Why am I not surprised Kenya did not ask the jihadi sympathizer in the White House for help. Where was the leader of the free world on this mosntrous attack on freedom? Obama is half-Kenya for G-d's sake.

Kenya calls in Israeli Special Forces to help end mall siege  Mideast Dispatch, September 22, 2013 According to Agence France Presse (AFP), at the request of the Kenyan government, Israeli Special Forces are now helping Kenyan forces try to end the on-going terrorist siege at the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi, where Islamist gunmen (and one gunwoman) have been holed up for over 24 hours with about 30 hostages.

A Kenyan security source told AFP that Israeli forces have now entered the mall, at the request of their Kenyan counterparts to help rescue the hostages and bring out the injured.

Reuters differs from AFP, reporting that Israeli anti-terrorism experts were helping in negotiations, but would not participate in operations.

59 people were killed and almost 200 injured yesterday in the coordinated attack by the Islamic Somali al-Shabab movement. Those escaping said the terrorists first separated Muslims from non-Muslims before beginning to execute the non-Muslims. Among those killed was a Canadian diplomat, the Kenyan president’s nephew and his fiancé, and Ghana’s leading poet.

There are about 4,000 Kenyan troops in the south of Somalia, where they have been fighting Islamic militants since 2011.

Kenya and Israel have long enjoyed close relations, particularly in the security sphere. Kenya assisted Israel with refueling and in other ways during the daring Israeli raid in 1976 to free Israeli and Jewish hostages in Entebbe, Uganda (in which the current Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s brother was killed).

I keep asking myself how anyone can ask such a question anymore. The bible admonishes us to not take what people say at face value rather we are to know them by their acts. So by the acts of Obama and the dims, ask yourself a question, what faction in the Middle East does this administration consistently support? It is the rabid islamic factions. What faction does Obama and the dims constantly suppress? Anyone who fights for peace or even their lives against rabid islam (but I repeat myself). Apply the principle of knowing them by their acts to all the dims and pubbies do. You will then know who to support and who to work against. Who you can trust an who you cannot trust.

Would be nice if the Israelis could pump some sort of 'knock out' gas into the mall. I doubt the attackers brought gas masks, but I'm sure the Israelis did.

The Russians did this once in a theater held by terrorists.. It killed a few people but many more would've died had they not done it.

If Kenya has to call in outside help for a mall, they are in for a whole lot of hurt if there’s something really big. Not saying 70 killed isn’t big but it’s in a contained area. It’s not citywide or countrywide.

I really hate to say this, but if I were in that situation, I can’t think of anyone else that I’d want help from more.

I suspect that the dead bodies of the terrorists will NOT be given an elaborate, expensive, “proper”, burial.

They took a lot of heat for this (mostly from people outside of Russia), because some of the hostages also died from the gas. But what they used had to act fast and anyone will tell you that anesthesia is not a precise science.

The critics don’t understand the Russian philosophy. Those terrorists were already dead when they started; the hostages are victims of the terrorism and if any can be saved, this is a big plus; and, “justice” from the Russians is swift, certain,and grossly disproportionate, with “precision” a very secondary concern with the safety of the dispensers of justice the primary concern.

That’s why it doesn’t happen often over there.
