Not surprisingly, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce applauded the letter and quickly issued their own in support of bringing more foreign workers to this country.
During a recent interview, TPIC founder John Stahl stated:
“At a time when the number of working Americans is fewer than it has been in 35 years, and Food Stamp usage has hit an all-time high, it is beyond disgusting that these brands, which Americans have supported for decades are now turning their backs on those same Americans...This cannot be tolerated.
“While most Americans have never heard of some of these companies, and we can understand that it would be difficult for many folks to switch their insurance coverage from Liberty Mutual to another company, it's rather easy to send these chains a message...You simply don't eat in their restaurants, stay in their hotels or drink their soda.
TPIC is sponsoring a boycott of the following businesses and products:
-The Cheesecake Factory -Coca-Cola -CVS Pharmacy -Hallmark Cards -Hilton Hotels -Hyatt Hotels -McDonald's -Longhorn Steakhouse -Olive Garden -Red Lobster -Wendy's
The TPIC is urging all Americans who care about border security as well as the rule of law to stop patronizing the aforementioned businesses, immediately.
The citizens' advocacy group is currently drafting a letter explaining the boycott, which will be sent to all of those who signed the letter urging Congress to pass an amnesty bill.

I’m all in. I already avoid fast food joints because my Spanish isn’t that good. Lotta Burger’s are the worst about not having English speaking employees.

Ugh...all my favorites. Olive Garden? Diet Coke? McDonald’s, Cheesecake Factory? How am I to survive? As I sit here literally drinking my Diet Coke, watching my stocks with McDonald’s go up....no down...now up, and am SERIOUSLY going to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory next Thursday, September 26 (I have ZERO choice as it is a retirement luncheon for one of my personnel). This absolutely stinks! Can’t these companies knock it off.

...and in related news, McDonald’s recently introduced their new spokes-clown, “Renaldo Donaldo”, who next month will replace the racist, white, intolerant, non-diverse “Ronald McDonald” at all McDonald stores located in border states and inner cities.

McD’s is asking for more cheap labor so they can keep those wages low? We’d all be better off if they trained competent US citizens who would stay with them and improve their workforce. It’s not hard to find moms or retirees who could use part-time work near home, if the conditions are reasonable.
