Some would call that hypocrisy, but it could be nothing more than a conflict of interest for his family's finances. According to Greg Abbott's recently disclosed tax returns, his wife Cecilia, earns $50.000 a year as managing director of community relations for Harden HealthCare. The firm specializes in care for the elderly and holds a financial incentive to limit the amount of malpractice lawsuit settlements. Accordingly, Harden Healthcare recognized as a "Champion Awards Sponsor" for 'Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse of Central Texas. And if Greg Abbot is elected governor of Texas, what other economic benefits can Harden Healthcare receive from the newly-elected official?

Anti-lawsuit abuse is good for Texas.
If you read the quote, it tries to equate Abbott’s personal injury to medical mal-practice. Pretty much apples and oranges. He’d likely gladly give the settlement money back if he could get up and walk.
Abbott will be our next Governor, count on it.
I will be voting for him.
