Charles Krauthammer says he believes anti-war Democrats will eventually support Obama on Syria because, as some have admitted, they will be loyal to the president. Given that, BillO argues to Krauthammer that some conservatives oppose Syria because they just don’t like the president, because they want to hurt him politically. He says it’s all about ideology but Krauthammer disagrees:

Didn't Democrats oppose Bush for the same reason? Didn't Hillary argue that "Dissent was patriotic?" I can't say that Republicans supported Bush just to be loyal. Many of us thought it was the right thing to do... bring the fight over there instead of having it over here. But it wasn't to be "loyal" to a party president.
And besides, we were still reeling from the attacks in New York, DC, and Pennsylvania. What is Obama reeling from?

If Dems can support Zero to help him politically, why can't Repubs oppose him to hurt him politically. Two sides of the same coin, if you ask me. Dems would oppose a Repub Prez just to hurt him.
What is BillO trying to say? That Dems can help each other and hurt Repubs when it helps them politically, but Repubs can't do the same? Looks like it to me.....
