This CNN news report by Wolf Blitzer is very deceptive. The investigative reporter Athena Jones lies in the video by stating Ted Cruz said personally he is eligible to be president. For the record, Ted Cruz has never admitted he is eligible to be president. Ted Cruz has never admitted he is a natural born Citizen. Ted Cruz has only admitted he is a U.S. Citizen since his mother is a U.S. Citizen. This report and many recent other reports on Cruz is meant to obfuscate facts and confuse the public. It is about traction being gained on revealing the current ineligible president residing in the White House. This has nothing to do with Ted Cruz alleged run 2016. It's all with Barack Obama now.

I can’t agree with this statement. CNN doesn’t need to protect Obama. The GOP and many others are already doing a fine job.
In fact, this all about aborting any potential for a conservative GOP candidate for President in 2016. And, unfortunately, Cruz is an easy mark because of his birth in Canada and his non-citizen father.

IS Ted Cruz a Citizen? Yes.
Did Ted Cruz have to take a citizenship test to become a citizen? No.
So by that definition he was “Born” a citizen because he inhereted it from his Mother.
Did Ted Cruz spend his formative years growin up inthe United States? YES
Did Obama? No!

Ted Cruz was not born in the jurisdiction of the United States. His father owed allegiance to a foreign sovereignty called Cuba. Ted Cruz is not in the language of our Constitution a natural born Citizen. He is a statutory code U.S. Citizen eligible for the Senate or House of Representatives.

That is interesting, your assumption is that Mr. Cruz after escaping Cuba owed them allegiance and not the country he was fleeing to.
Mr. Cruz became a naturalized citizen as soon as it was possible for him to do so, I am pretty sure that means he had no allegiance to Cuba.
Or were you just speaking in general terms.
