"I had huge hopes for Christie..."

Really? What about him said "conservative" or "man-of-the-people" other than his affinity for fried foods? You do know that he thought the 911 Mosque was a great idea, right?

Gov. Christie, AKA “FATHANG”, is part of government and like so many in that population, has decided that as more of him was good for whatever, more governmant would be better for all.

FATTHANG knows better than the Founders, understand, ‘untermensch!

and described the political philosophy, which trends heavily toward a belief in fundamental human rights and fiscal responsibility, as a “very dangerous thought.”
A belief in "fundamental human rights and fiscal responsibility" has, historically, been very dangerous to tyrants everywhere.

Rights and responsibilities are dangerous? On what planet?

money and power corrupt, every time. He has sold his soul for a chance to live at 1600. He will lose ( probably to Hillary) and have absolutely no understanding of why.

Fundamental human rights are dangerous thoughts allright.

They tend to leave dictators dangling from a rope.

“strain of libertarianism that’s going through both parties right now,”

Both parties? Huh! Since when?

...and described the political philosophy, which trends heavily toward a belief in fundamental human rights and fiscal responsibility, as a “very dangerous thought.”

Help us Obi-wan, it's our only hope. Jabba has joined the Empire.

Christie was willing to publicly yell at public employee unions who richly deserved being yelled at.

Beyond that, there is nothing of liberty in this man.

Chunky C talks a big game but beyond that not much.

My governor (Rick Snyder) is a full on liberal and he actually takes up the hard fights.

I never got on the Christie bandwagon. He was more of a populist - just saying what people wanted to hear at the time - and rode the wave others made at the time.

I’m looking in vain for any trace of libertarianism in the current GOP. It’d be an improvement over the groveling.

Addressing Krispy Kreme:

You know what would have prevented another 9/11?

Maybe firing all the jack hats in the FBI, CIA, and NSA who said not to worry about the people here on expired VISAs learning to fly a plane but not to land it.

Maybe firing all the ICE and INS agents who didn;t do their damned job and obstructed those who wanted to do their damned constitutional defined job.

Maybe removing all the pensions for the ones above, especially those who ignored the people below them ont he chain who were screaming that somethign be DONE.

Maybe firing those who sought to replace good old fashioned detective work with the lazyness of casting a huge dragnet around ordinay citizens.

Maybe realizing that the power of defending this country lies not in looking at the citizens with scrutiny, but trusting in the citizens because the country is the property OF the citizens and not the other way around.

I could go on, but I don’t wanna have to wrap my head in duct tape to keep it from exploding.

The idea of liberty is dangerous to who? Last time this political speech came up it was about those dunderheaded black slaves...

Seems there is equality in the modern era, we are all just supposed to give the fruits of our labor to Massa, cause Massa is so much smarter at spending it than we would be.
