Just a question: I've been following the case pretty well, I think, and part of the back story was there were a lot of burglaries in Zimmerman's community before the incident occurred. It was also reported that in each case, the perp was black (or at least suspected to be). So here's my politically incorrect question that I hope someone has an answer...
... how many burglaries have their been in that community since the death of Young Mr. Martin?
And to the race pimps out there wondering what kind of message it sends, here's the real message that you don't want to mention: In the American Justice system, self-defense cases usually end up in acquittal or no-trial. The Zimmerman case was just another example.
More important is the un-spoken message - Zimmerman's lawful action was a response to the young-black lawlessness on the streets of America these days that threatens the safety of all races and the overall domestic tranquility in this country; this growing epidemic that is rarely even reported in most media.
That's right. Not only are you hearing this from a black guy, but the other black guy working in my department (certified liberal) agrees. SELF DEFENSE IS AN IN-ALIENABLE RIGHT, especially when you're getting your head caved in. Yell, scream and do all the double-jeopardy you want, but if you wanna act like animals, you will eventually run into more George Zimmermans...
... and thank God for that.

I can't speak about burglaries, but there was a major littering incident.
Incidentally, I have long considered the attitude of White "Liberal" media types, in assuming that Black communities identify more with Black criminals than with law enforcement, one of the most insulting demonstrations of just how out of touch those media types are. They seem unable to look more deeply into contrived agitations, to understand the climate of fear that those criminals create in their own neighborhoods.
Often investigations show that those demonstrating against law enforcement in troubled neighborhoods, often come predominantly from out of the neighborhood! I believe that that was actually the case in the Florida community involved in the Zimmerman/Martin incident.

I can confirm that several days after the shooting, a search of the area near where Zimmerman last saw Martin, recovered a burglar's slim jim hidden in the bushes. It was not processed for fingerprints.
That question crossed my mind too. Particularly since I'd read an article shortly after the trial started that poor-little-innocent Trayvon had been caught at school with some items that were suspected to be from local robberies.... but the school never called the police.

Here’s a follow-up question to yours. Of those burglaries that occurred in Zimmerman’s community, did the police take fingerprints? Were those fingerprints ever compared with Trayvon’s?
Our country seems doomed. The Black people hate and distrust us so much, how can there be hope? It is reasonable to assume that it was self-defense, as well, the evidence showed that; but look at the prevailing attitudes of Blacks. I’m convinced absolutely nothing will placate Black people, or satisfy their need to punish whites for “slavery”. They just can’t get over it. Why couldn’t Trayvon have just calmly said to George, “Can I help you?” , or, “is there a problem?” in a civilized manner? If so, there could’ve been a conversation ending in mutual understanding rather than death.I believe the “racism” ran in the other direction, Trayvon was pissed at the crazy ass cracker and wanted, in true teenage punchy mode, to pick a fight. This is so obvious, yet the media has portrayed Zimmerman as a literal gun-drawn hunter out to get Trayvon. I can’t even watch the news anymore. Jews were enslaved and even gassed and hunted down like animals, yet they “got over” it ad went on with their lives, living amazingly successfully. It’s a mess, that’s for sure.
There were numerous, and they were entered into evidence, even though they were not brought out at trial. The defense team asked the jury to consider those, as they would have access to the police reports in evidence. Also car burglaries. The police crime watch liasion, who Zimmerman called & met with residents of the gated complex, testified about the subdivision being a high-crime area due to the number of incidents.
There was also a home invasion, 6 months before the shooting. A young mother of a 4 month old saw several young black men loitering outside her condo. She called 911, and ran upstairs with her child in her arms just as they broke into her home. She testified, it was quite moving. The 911 operator told her to stay quiet, and asked if there was anything she had that could be used as a weapon. All she could find was a pair of infant safety scissors! Thankfully, the criminals grabbed everything they could carry (TVs, computers, etc) and left without going upstairs.
When GZ got home from work, he went over to give her extra locks, especially one for her patio door. He also gave her a piece of paper with his address and wife’s phone number, as she was home most days studying. He wanted her to have someone close to call and just talk to after the incident.
According to an article, Martin was searched at school shortly before the incident, and school police found jewelry including wedding rings and a screwdriver (described as a burglary tool) in his backpack. They were described as “found items” by school police to get around filing charges, and were therefore not connected to a burglary. These items are still being held by the police. A local has been trying to get the police to find the owners.
This was part of a conspiracy by the school police chief to lower the “crime statistics” in schools by not reporting criminal activity (it worked - he received a commendation). He launched an investigation into who leaked this information, and was fired when his officers revealed the scheme.

Tis true. They have been institutionally indoctrinated to hate and seek revenge upon Whitey and believe they have been wronged...Their great-great-great grandfathers were -- 150-250 years ago. However they conveniently forget and ignore the historical fact that their own West African forefathers first enslaved then SOLD them as chattel.
If you look at all the crime in the area before the incident, you would come away with a criminal profile of the suspect(s).
Odd that CBS/NBC/ABC/CNN/MSNBC/NYT/WaPo haven't reported this ;-)
One of GZ's neighbors was a victim of a violent breakin by two parties. One was caught and the other has never been found.
Once St Skittles was shot, the crime rate dropped. Go figure.

Ah, maybe avoidance of raiding the community in case there's another lawfully armed citizen living there?
I don’t think that even if we could get that question answered accurately by the politically correct SPD under the domain of Norton Bonaparte, who violated a citizen’s Constitutional rights with his injudicious scheme team conclave in the mayor’s office, that that would say anything since after the 2/26 incident the SPD began regular patrols in the complex.
Those burglaries would have been happening while Saint Trayvon was still living in Miami. His demise could, though, be expected to provide a significant deterrent to future crimes.
Did you read my post? Not all black folks think that way. As I read reports from the trial, it occurred to me that after the prosecution presented their case, the defense didn’t even need to present one.
I’ll throw one more thing at everyone: We’ve they’ve got CNN in the office (not my choice). I’m not the only one here starting to think these protests are staged. A little too spontaneous, and the talking heads doing their best to egg this whole thing on.
