No Constitution, No Borders, No USA
Family Security Matters ^ | June 15, 2013 | DIANA WEST

At what point does it become clear that we no longer inhabit America?

When we "Press 2," not "1," for English?

When a national Social Security Number syncs an electronic identity that the government hospital provided us at birth to track us till death?

When borders are no more, but the Surveillance State always knows where we are?

Ours is the age of dislocation before realization: The United States of America no longer exists. Why? How? The answer is simple, tragic and outrageous: Government officials, elected and unelected, with precious exceptions, no longer preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. Instead, they do whatever it takes to beat it, flout it and ignore it. Worse, We, the People, let them.

This can't go on. Otherwise our-country-'tis-of-thee becomes a melody to be forgotten, a mirage of a tradition more storybook than real every day. Nowhere is this more the case, of course, than in Washington, D.C., where absolute unaccountability corrupts absolutely, where echoing down the cool, white marble halls of power, hollow men and women trample sovereignty and citizenship in a pathway to American betrayal. And I haven't even gotten to Congress, busy "reforming" the illegal-alien crisis they antiseptically refer to as "immigration," while considering passage of a $940 billion "farm bill," 80 percent of which will fund food stamps. These two laws alone can institutionalize the lawlessness of the land and make countless more Americans wards of the state.

Meanwhile, there is in Washington a faceless power-mongery that lives and works in the shadows. City by city, rural state by rural state, its mechanisms of "immigration," "refugee resettlement" and socialist government programs overwhelm a near-impotent citizenry with alien cultures, religions, languages and traditions.

When did Rome fall? Historians don't always agree on a precise year and a precise event -- but everyone agrees that Rome fell.

When did our republic cease to exist? [shrug] We may all have our own opinions on the precise date, but I think we all know that this is over. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.

Immigration must not reach the floor of the house. Democrats are screwed without it and have to pass it before the election.

I don't know, about 5 years ago, maybe?

We have passed the tipping point. I see little hope, expecially for states like CA.

We reached the tipping point in 1986 after that amnesty thereafter millions more illegals have been coming to America. They now demand free college educations, work permits, social security cards, drivers licenses, they get huge tax refunds, many use document fraud of a citizen than claim oh I made the number up. Cities are ignoring federal immigration detainers thus allowing illegals to make bail and take off never to be seen again, until the next arrest, medical care is free of charge at any hospital, the many births of kids all are done free of charge. Schools give free breakfasts, lunches, some even have took home evening meals as well as giving free food for the weekend. Many schools close for summer are now offering free breakfast and lunches during the week.Thousands are crossing the border daily and this is a small list compared to what the entire package will be. I wonder if in 10-15 years how close will America mirror Mexico ?

I wouldn’t count on them not being on board. This is about permanent democrat power and virtually anything they want in the future.

This one can’t even come to a vote in the house.

Change "democrat" to "Statist" and you're absolutely right.

This one can’t even come to a vote in the house.

Treason hearings need to be started up; under both the federal and state constitutions (as applicable).

We still inhabit America and always will.
But not with the same freedoms as out forefathers!
Buit as mindless drones under the opression of a socialist Government, hellbent on fascism. The inherent of freedom wil be lost but to the few that strive to put the people of the land to their will!

Mirror Mexico? In the eyes of many of these scum bags, this IS Mexico.

The question is whether they can run CA any better than they did Mexico. They’ll soon have their chance.
