America, behold yesterday's press briefing on Benghazi and the IRS targeting Obama's political opponents.

The reporters are no longer buying the hogwash, they expose the lies, and they make it plain.

It is the most surreal press briefing I have ever seen in my life, and I have seen some real doozies.

Even a CNN reporter said afterwards, on the air, that the room was filled with reporters who could not believe how they were being spun.

I suppose it was both instructive and entertaining to see the press do their jobs for the first time in 5 years. Not to mention the exposé of just a few of the many Obama lies.

I bet nothing comes of it though. The press would have to mount a full court press against Obama like they did against Nixon for anyone to put down their Kool-Aid cup and take notice, but the press won’t do that against one of their own. Without the press beating the drum on this day and night, the moochers and leaches will continue to collect their “free” stuff from the government while we peasant workers and savers continue to watch our lives diminish.

Sorry for being a such a pessimist, but I’ve been watching this stuff for quite a while and know how it works.

The ‘they’ or ‘someone’ is, of course, ‘probably’ the Congressional Republicans, for political reasons.

it's hard to believe these people, who are right in the middle of all this, had no idea what was going on wrt Benghazi. We are some regular citizens far from DC, with no where near the contacts they have (in most cases) and we had it figured out inside of a couple weeks. Maybe we didn't have proof but we were pretty sure what was needed to prove it.
