Hard to believe we live in the same country. I keep trying to convince my wife that the rest of the country isn’t like us.
It isn’t.
Take her to West Monroe, Louisiana for a vacation and she will figure it out really fast. But if you can’t make it, watch Duck Dynasty for just a flavor.
This country is pockmarked with highly populated urban areas and mega-metropolitan conglomerations of entitlement minded people who also share the predeliction of liberals to control every aspect of others’ lives. Half the population of this country is there. No real morals, value for human life, or belief in individual freedom.
They are spotted in a vast sea of real Americans, with values. However, this ‘sea’ is getting smaller because this country is allowing hundreds of thousands of illegals in every year, allowing 3rd and 4th world dregs intent on reaping the entitlement bounty here, trying to entice even honest Americans to partake of the bounty (e.g., begging people to sign up for SNAP, etc.).
