Or, as I've been saying, it's not just that they're too stubborn to learn, it's that they simply know this is the type of thing that a teabagger rethuglican would do, so the fact that they immediately (even if wrongly) throw suspicion on the teabagger rethuglican proves how insidiously vile the teabagger rethuglicans are, coincidentally confirming their worldview.
