In a diatribe I feel was not new to O’Reilly, he actually postulated that gun registration of responsible citizens would reduce gun crime by criminals. Even when it was pointed out that none of the recent shootings would have been stopped by his dangerous sophomoric suggestion, he stood fast.
He points to Chicago, claiming gun registration would help, because if a criminal was caught in a(n unconstitutional) “stop and frisk” with an unregistered gun, they’d be charged. It’s already illegal for these gangbangers to have guns. Laws won’t work if not applied, and Chicago does not apply the laws already on the books (1). How would another law matter to...

I heard that on BOR the other night and said to my wife this guy is insane and surely not conservative or even conversant with the Constitution. How many bodyguards does he have and are they armed? He obviously does not need them as NY is a gun registration/confiscation state so he should be safe.
BTW, note that patriot O Reilly “taught in an inner city school”...which is somewhat correct but he forgets to add that it was to get a draft deferment.

Either he really is a boob at heart, or (more likely) he is an egotist who plays these games so he can say he is not a “right wing extremist” and can sell his books to some liberals and moderates.
...but the sad thing is, 3-5 million people have fallen for that “looking out for you” BS for years. How pathetic one must be to fall for that...to think any other person must “look out “ for them, let alone one who doesn’t even understand much about free market economics.

O'Reilly is ignorant. In Chicago, all firearms are supposed to be registered. It's the law there.

We should just let BOR fade away. I - as did most of you - stopped watching him years ago.
He just is not very bright, nor has he remained believable.
Ignore him and sooner or later he will go away - to MSNBC where he’ll never be seen again save for their five viewers.
I gave up on the Fox nightly line up of infotainment years ago. It was the same revolving cast of talking heads screaming about essentially the same issues night after night. It got boring.

He kind of reminds me of a poor man’s Walter Winchell. Very poor. As in, broke.
O’Reilly brags about going to Harvard, but he only took a couple of classes there after he was rich and famous. His ignorance rivals that of Juan Williams.
