Obamas Paid 18.4% in Taxes on $608,611 in 2012 (Where Is The Outrage?)

President Obama and his wife Michelle paid 18.4% in taxes on $608,611 in 2012.

April 12 (Bloomberg) — President Obama, wife, Michelle, had adjusted gross income of $608,611 in 2012, paid $112,214 in taxes, according to federal tax returns released by White House. • Vice President Biden, wife, Jill, report $385,072 in adjusted gross income, paid $87,851 in federal taxes • Obamas donated $150,034, ~24.6% of adjusted gross income, to 33 charities

Here are the Obama’s 2012 tax returns.

What happened to the vitriol about Warren Buffett’s tax rate versus his secretary?

The same holds true about the vitriol about Mitt Romney’s 14% tax rate.

If you look at Obama’s tax returns, there is nothing out of the ordinary. He donated a considerable amount to charities which lowers his income subject to taxes.

There should not have been outraged about Buffett and Romney. But where is the outrage against Obama’s 18.4%?

Since presidents make so much money for the rest of their lives giving speeches, they should receive only expenses while in the White House. And those expensives should NOT cover vacations or other personal time off such as golf. Then lets see how many liberals would want to be president.

How much did the O-Dumbos have to claim for their subsidized government housing — That is an allowance isn’t it. It is a benefit...shouldn’t they have to pay “their fair share” and be taxed on the fair market value. Just asking? I know that anytime I receive anything for “free” I have to pay for it.

Sounds like they paid less than Warren Buffet’s secretary.

Anyone have the numbers on that?

He’s part of the 1%! He’s not doing his “fair share”!

It’s all a hoax, folks, the effective tax rates for taxpayers are almost always much lower than the rate specified by law. There is no way Obama and his rich friends are going to pay 39%.

Warren Buffet’s secretary, Debbie Bosanek, pays a tax rate of 35.8% of income. I’m sure the MSM will be right on this....

Good work, Kevao.

Unbelievable, the bias, the cover-ups, the biased silence.

Obamas Paid 18.4% in Taxes on $608,611 in 2012 (Where Is The Outrage?)

I have no way of knowing if this is still true, but many years ago (about 20) my tax accountant gave me an education about "imputed" income.

Has anyone examined that return to make sure all the family and personal vacations, travel, lodging, meals etc. that are not directly related to his duties as president have been included in his gross income figure?
Or is Hussein Obama immune to the laws I must comply with?

In addition to the statutory presidential salary.
Just wondering.

Then this is your lucky day!

Click the link at post #2 of this thread and scroll to page 23 of the return.
