Does the Damascus Road ring a bell?
The Hunchback of Notre Dame I recall because his face rang a bell.
Damascus Road was a very short meeting between Paul and someone he had never met before - Jesus.
Jesus was not an uncommon name. Like Bob or John. It was not until Paul was blinded and supposedly cured by this Jesua (Jesus) that it was of any substance.
Paul never saw Jesus or sought him until years later. (Well After his death).
PLEASE NOTE - I CAN ACTUALLY SAY I SAT ON THE RABBI’S SEAT IN THE CHURCH JUST OUTSIDE OF TARSUS TURKEY WHERE PAUL ESTABLISHED HIS FIRST CHURCH. I SAT EXACTLY WHERE PAUL SAT. (Probably numerous times).
Can you say the same about your personal experiences or does it only come from a bible that that been modified Thousands upon Thousands of times in the past 2 thousand years?
