The NRA needs to be running ads in vulnerable Dem Senators states.
Hell, put up amendments, twist arms of Dems, anything to keep this from passing in the Senate.
If Obama gets zero on gun control because the Senate fails this will wipe those smug smiles off Dems faces and remove that issue from Os 2014 campaign, a huge push into lame Duck status.

Democrats played their hand in NY and Colorado. End game is very clear - total ban, confiscation and persecution of gun owners. RINOs appear to be on board as they can continue to rob the citizens. Gun ownership/Second Amendment is only obstacle to total control. We fight, yield nothing, or prepare to lose our money and freedom.
If Congress had any sense, they would simply say the Second Amendment stands and abolish gun control laws. It worked for over 200 years, so let’s go back. Then they could concentrate on serious issues like a budget, jobs, entitlement reform, and fighting crime.
