Are Republican Senators Plotting with Obama on Gun Control?
http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com ^ | March 29, 2013 | Dudley Brown

Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley has a "gun control lite" bill he's selling to weak-kneed Senators on Capitol Hill . . .

. . . and what's even worse, Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says, "it might be something I can support."

You would think ALL Republicans are lining up behind Senators Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to support the filibuster of Harry Reid's gun control bill -- S. 649.

But that’s just not happening.

And it appears Grassley and McConnell's "gun control lite" bill could destroy all efforts to stop Obama's war on your gun rights when the Senate returns to Washington on April 8.

It’s unclear exactly what Grassley's gun control bill contains, but it’s clear he’s more than willing to cut a “deal,” especially after he was the lone Republican vote with the gun-grabbers in a recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

That's exactly how we're going to get gun control -- weak-kneed Republicans buckling.

RINOs want gun control as bad as gun grabbing democrats. Grassley and McConnnel should have both retired 30 years ago.

Sarah Palin:

Such a move would justify a third party run.

No question. All or nothing GOP. Make your choice.

Like on everything else, they cave, to one degree or another,
just to get the issue off the table, because, once again, they are afraid of 'looking bad', or
losing votes, or
taking flak from the MSM, or
like their (D) bretheren, THEY have armed security, and could give a tin sh_t about us peons...

Once again today, I was discussing with someone my desire to go re-register as an (I) voter...

Good grief. I admit I wouldn’t be surprised anymore. The GOP caves on everything... spending, Obamacare, debt ceilings, amnesty, homo marriage. Is there any principle left that they haven’t been willing to ditch? It’s become impossible to have the slightest shred of respect for the Party. They are like the cowardly toadie who pats you on the back and say they are with you 100%, and then slink away during the night to the marxist commandante and sell you out.

The ones who are not up for reelection will go all wishy washy and cave in. To them the opinion of the NYT is more important than the Constitution.

Well gee, Wally, you can't be real when you say the GOP in office today are socialist plants put there many years ago, can you?

Eddie Haskel and Lumpie say that's just a goofy idea and no one, including George Soros, who masterminded the Secretary of State plan, would ever think of doing that.

That's just silly Wally. Right? Right Wally?

Wally, why are you reloading ammo, Wally?

Wally, what was in that package you received from Gold-Line.com today, Wally? And why is there three years worth of corned beef hash in our closet, Wally?

I don’t agree that the acts of a few bad republicans justify the condemnation of the party.

To expect ideological uniformity among a population of millions is insane. Theses “Republican Senators” need to answer to their constancy.

On the other hand, when such outliner get the support of the party as a whole, then that party might be said to no longer represent our values, and therefore be worthy of our support.

Let not the acts of a few define the whole. The democrats might as well run as republicans to redefine and destroy the republican party if your going to do that.

Let us see what most republican senators do.
