I thought this was a scoop, but Fox news beat me to it. The new media is gaining strength.

Seems to me that Mark Kelly broke the law in attempting to play the role of straw buyer. He also would have had to lie on the form where it asks if you are buying for yourself or someone else.

Kudos to Diamondback Police Supply for their defense of our Constitutional rights.

I second that! I've been seeing more and more gun shops and manufacturers standing up and fighting back against the forces of tyranny. Well done!

Oh, yes. Grabby Giffords and the Astronaut,

Wasn’t there an astronaut involved in some kind of bizarre scandal some time ago?

Someone attempts to make a political point on a dealer, and the dealer ends up 1) Refunding the money, 2) making an in kind donation of a rifle, 3) donating the same amount as the refunded purchase to a charity.

Now the public’s used to liberals getting their hands caught in the cookie jar, and making all sorts of efforts to extract themselves. If you gave me the above list, me, as a member of the general public would probably make the assumption that the gun shop did something wrong and is trying to make up for it, not that it was the victim of attempted fraud (and grand larceny.)

I respect the idea that the gun shop has here, attempting to embarrass a liberal into maybe doing some right things himself. I really do think that there's no chance at all that this will work, and probably harmed their image in making such gestures in the eyes of the public as a whole.

He should have kept the money and turned over the 4473 to the police, for felony straw purchase reasons.
