if you are a minority, he seems to believe that you are not even worthy to walk the streets without subjecting yourself to unconstitutional stop and frisk attacks on your rights and dignityBloomberg - who is a fascist megalomaniac - did not introduce the Terry Stop to law enforcement.
A Terry Stop is constitutional and is a useful and legal enforcement tool.
The author needs to cool it with the lefty rhetoric.

Our government doesn’t have rights or give rights.
It has powers that are granted to it by the people.
Our rights are natural or God given & don’t come from the government.

You'll recognize it when it happens. For a couple of seconds.

What I like best about this line of thinking is that one of the first freedoms the government needs to take over is your freedom to decide which freedoms the government needs to take over. That's in wiser hands.

Imagine what New York City (and the rest of the country) would be like if Rudy Giuliani had chosen to pursue changing the rules in his second term so that he could use his popularity to argue that his leadership is still needed in a third mayoral term in NYC?
Instead, he chose to abide by the law and step aside after two terms.
What did Bloomberg do after two terms as mayor? He switched parties from Republican to Independent, had the law changed, and ran for a third term.

The word “*sshole” scarcely begins to describe this demented egomaniac.
Indeed, he offers all the symptoms of narcissistic psychopathology and should be in some clinic somewhere.

Loonatic Bloomberg is at it again!
Before I ran into Free Republic, conservative politics, et al., I used to think like this, but at least I grew out of it. Bloomberg has the mentality of a (looney) thug.
