Well folks, proud anti-American Hugo Chavez has finally bought it. The right has been resilient down there -considering- yet the VP who's recently taken charge of affairs is not just a Marxist but a Sopranos-style thug who's reportedly managed executions of Chavez opponents in the past, so any expecting a more just and uncorrupted democratic process are probably in for some disappointment...

Attention: Lear Leader Obama. Your best friend and communist, Hugo Chavez, as assumed room temperature. There is an immediate opening for Venezuelan President. Please defect and take the DC Donkey party, RINOs, and MSM to this South American paradise.

Chavez’s death was announced on the 60th anniversary of Josef Stalin in 1953. Stalin’s funeral was attended by Communist dictator of Czechoslovakia Klement Gottwald, who himself croaked 9 days after Stalin. Let’s see who might also die of a broken heart in coming days. Any predictions?
Smart money is on Castro, but Carter could be in the running. Sean Penn is the long shot.

Truth is I’m in Europe this week, on a different time schedule of course and woke up to the news... when I didn’t see it here on the FR blogger forum I thought it was fresh
Oh well, plenty to talk about as you say...

Well, now he knows that there is a worse place than America.
Too bad. I hate for anybody to go there, but I don’t doubt that was his destination.
