In La. you have to apply to get in them and many times a lottery is held because there are more students trying to get in the charters then there are seats available. I don’t know how it works in Michigan but down here in La. the school would have had it’s charter revoked long ago.

Socialist education pays big - if you are sitting at the top...
Saw this in Iraq - the Head Masters had the best furniture and A/C - while the rest of the classrooms were striped of desks, clack boards, and supplies...even the plumbing was torn out!
Gotta love the corruption!

Michael Van Beek, education policy director at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, said unlike traditional public school districts, parents can leave a charter public school and have another local option.Never mind the parents going elsewhere, fire the bum. Who determines the salaries in these charter schools? Get after them.
