My 10-year old son is in his second year of wrestling here in NY. He just won the Sectional Championship, and he's headed to the State Tournament next week. He's excited and I'm awfully proud of him, and pleased that he's learned a bunch of important life lessons this year. Maybe the biggest one is that hard work and commitment lead to good things.
Anyway, I put together this highlight video and thought I'd share it with you all.

LOL. That’s awesome, cripplecreek!
That’s fantastic you should be proud!!
Outstanding!
Great upper body strength and doesn’t quit.
Good confidence.
Suggestions:
Learn to drive the opponent over with the hips. Put the half in, get off your knees, keep your hips low and drive with your legs. Keep your free arm around the waist as he turns over.
Stay off your knees and on your toes when pinning the opponent.
When you shoot; shoot through the leg instead of just to it.
Control the head when standing. The body must follow.
If you get in trouble, grab the thigh and suck it in tight to you chest.
If he shoots and gets your legs, reach over and yank his ankle or ankles to the moon.
Take judo classes.
Be in three times as good of condition as your opponent.
Learn to ride with the legs.
Good luck.
Thank you!
Good advice to any young wrestler, Revolutionary
Congratulations to Danny
