A news story was released stating that a number of gun manufacturers around the country will no longer sell to Law Enforcement officers or government agencies within the states that have the most stringent weapons restrictions against their citizen’s rights to own similar weapons. (1)

Upon reading this story, as well the comments, this was my answer to one particular comment, whose author was worried about “Law Enforcement” officers and officials being punished for the decisions of various government toadies.

This country has gone to hell since our local police were turned from “Peace Officers” into...

“We have created a corrupt class of super-citizen which needs to be stripped of their positions of superiority.  And we must take back responsibility both for our own safety and that of the community. We live here. Give us back the right to protect ourselves. Within a very short time, the recidivist crime rate would plummet and the streets of ALL communities in America would be safe to walk, 24 hours a day.”

Damn I could have written this myself! Coach really is “right”!

“According to the FBI/DOJ Uniform Crime Reporting Statistics, Law Enforcement commits more homicides, assaults and sexual assaults against the populace than citizens commit against each other. And only marginally less crime on the whole!”
This is an outlandish statement whose source must be cited by chapter and verse. One cannot simply state that “According to the FBI/DOJ Uniform Crime Reporting Statistics...” Utter bullsh$t.

Look at who are the biggest pushers of “gun control” around the country, Law Enforcement, that is who!

While not all LEO are corrupt, the majority are following orders, serve a master being government, not the citizen who pays their wages!

LEO can't serve two masters, for they will love the one, and hate the other!

Enough said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Control for sex, since police are about 90% male and men commit most violent crimes, and the police numbers should fall - but not nearly enough. Male police officers ought to more law-abiding than women who are not police, shouldn’t they?

The sexual assault rates are oddly high for police - more likely to commit, or more subject to false charges?

Specifically big city Police Chiefs, who of course are appointed by leftie Democrat pols who run the big cities. Sheriffs who are elected seem to be much more pro 2A.
