While I believe this in principle, has the details been proven to be true? I know S&W’s custom shop can produce several hundred per day and when I visited the factory years ago, they were pushing out thousands so to say they are maxed at 300 per day is unusual. Small shops do that.

For what it’s worth, I ordered an AR lower yesterday at

The guy told me it would me ready Saturday. Rguns assembles their guns. It was $285. They do have many uppers, some in stock. They aren’t a name brand, but I can upgrade later. Mainly just wanted one now.

I am not affiliated nor have any interest in their company. Just passing this on for info.

Yes but did you notice the supply chain issues. This may be true.

They can’t if they don’t have the material to work with. You can’t make barrels and receivers out of thin air
