Anybody who thinks the economy is recovering is a sheltered being. We’ve known they’re blatantly lying for years now.

My wife and I were talking about this tonight. She works, I work -- we know "poor people" who live better than we do. Single mothers in subsidized housing -- they take vacations and buy ipads for their kids. I'm sure that some unemployed people are having a tough time -- but there are clearly some non-productive people who are living better than the middle class.

My wife wasn't serious, but she asked, "Should we quit our jobs and just stay home? Maybe we'd have more money ..."

You can't build a successful society with a culture like that, but you sure can destroy a society that way.

How can the media lie? Most of their budget comes from Carnegie, Ford, Rockefeller, and Soro’s! So watch how the main propaganda pieces have no money problems.

It will be because of good management, even though all of the small business people have stopped their advertising dollars, to them.

I did!

Everything put out by Obumbo and his media lackeys is a lie,
and built on the same principle.
This is why he is still popular, or reported as so.
If Americans do not wake-up fast, they are finished.
Since I am an expat, I will be fine until my social security crashes, which is now my only fear.

They just keep gobbling up the mainstream media propaganda and they just continue to go out and wildly spend money.

Maybe the Taker classes are still spending - but middle class spending is way off. That's why all those small businesses are going under.

Yep. I know it’s anecdotal, but just the empty small biz space all of the area tells me all I need to know. And nothing new opening.

Please don’t confuse Zero with the facts ..
He is a community organizer and ill prepared for the ‘geezer and grey panther’ rebellion.
He is used to working with the ‘sheeple’and the Obamabots.

Go figure a leader who can’t lead !
An Executive who has never lead even a march !
A ‘Zero’ who can’t even count, or, add up the numbers..
but according to Moochellle, he’s been working every day on unemployment
but hasn’t figured out that all the new jobs are part-timers
who used to be full-time.
Watch for more rats abandoning the sinking ship .

Was anyone really expecting any excretions from Traitorobama and his hell-spawned regime, as well as from the fifth-column Traitorobama buttboys and media skanks, to be anywhere closer than a few teraparsecs from the truth?!?

The only “shocked ones” are the idiots.

I don’t want to be around them when the SHTF.

Hell...I don’t like being around them now.

The media has been lying to us about EVERYTHING.

I consider the media and the democrats a bigger threat to our country than the terrorists..... at least we can kill the terrorists.

Articles with ominous foreboding predictions seem popular these days on FR. 0bama won, so hunker down. But, articles of this type selectively quoting statistics and then predicting doom — I call bul1$4i7. If the economy were lurching so close to disaster, the stock market averages would have already reacted in a strong negative direction. For those who did not take economics class in college, I will tell you early on you learn about leading and lagging indicators — labor figures are by the nature of how they are collected are lagging. Not a peep or a mention of the expansion of oil and gas industry in the U.S. and the falling price of domestic energy used by heavy industry. Domestic energy for industry is at multi-decade lows as is the cost of financing the oil and gas industry build out. The economy of 2025 will be unrecognizable from what we see today. The overspending by various levels of government is only overspending for a $14+T economy, but sustainable for a $20+T economy. Look at the empirical evidence in your own lives before going woe is we every time you read articles like the one above.

I think it was in 2010.

The Tea Party organized a protest against CNN in Atlanta.
It drizzled rain that day, but there was a good turnout.

I carried a sign that said “You Won’t See This On CNN”.

And, of course, you didn’t see it on CNN.

But, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to protest the media and attempt to shame them.

Our “conservative” radio station is imbedded with the local news reports that ALWAYS sound like “Fairy Tales”...they report on a different universe that’s happy and growing and just swell.

Propaganda at it’s best.

I can’t WAIT for the “talking heads” of local news to experience the coming collapse...I don’t think they know how to wipe their asses, to be honest.

Most liberals will support obama whether they have a job or not. So, as long as the media lies to “moderates” they’ll keep supporting him and he’ll keep having high approval ratings.

The printing industry in my area has been hit hard. I was a broker among other services offered, photography, design, mailing, digital, web. Had to shut down in 2008, went to work for a customer.

A printer I’d known and worked with 20 years shut down suddenly late last year, they were hanging on, waiting for better times since 2008. Just couldn’t rationalize keeping the doors open anymore.

Another in southern Virginia I’ve worked with for over a decade, the longtime owner lost his (very nice) house to personal bankruptcy, he’s putting his all into keeping the company going.

Another, who specializes in digital printing, owns his office building outright and is living there to keep himself afloat. Down to one employee, himself. Barely making it.

I don’t see this turning around any time soon. We’re in far worse shape now than we were when this first hit in late 2007 to early 2008.

I worried that I had panicked and overreacted when I shut down and took a job, but in hindsight it’s looking like he who panics first panics best.
