Good thing this couldn't be abused in any way.

How can the court permit seizure of guns for a year, but no seizure of automobiles, gasoline, knives, or rock collections. It's always about the guns.
Adults who cannot be trusted with firearms belong in prison or mental institutions.

CT is a shit hole. I live in Illinois, which is a pit; but it is better than CT (not that that says a lot about Illinois).

This might be the model for Obama’s gun seizure. Anyone taking antidepressant medications, who supports the TEA party, or even has a gun is automatically mentally ill and can have their guns seized. Doctors will be forced to make the judgement call under broad federal "guidelines".

"This law has been used over 300 times since 1999 and there is no question that it has prevented tragedies from happening," said Mike Lawlor There is no way that you can prove that statement is true. It's like saying because I snap my fingers the tigers don't attack. You say "but there are no tigers around". I respond, "works really good doesn't it". You can't prove a negative premise in formal logic.

Bar associations in the states pushing for gun control as they did the divorce/cohabitation regime? Drooling for more dollars raining from cases? Naw! Couldn’t be!
