Of course there are other stories in the news.(snip)Butt I know that what youre really interested in are the SAG Awards handed out last night, so here goes.
Its hard to believe that the Golden Globes were handed out just two weeks ago, butt what a difference! Lets start with the most Improved Award, which goes hands down to Jessica Chastain:
If it werent for the fact that you can tell she has an inny this look would be a complete winner.(snip)
First runner up, same category, goes to Nicole Kidman:
(snip)In fact the once elegant Nicole doesnt seem to have much about her own self that is genuine any more:
In fact in her more-or- less original form she looked more like Bernadette Peters than she did Nicole Kidman:
Wow! its amazing what a little hair straightening, nose slimming, teeth correction, chin implant, and unlimited supply of Botox can do for your self-esteem.
(snip)Butt back to the SAGS: in the opposite category, Reverse Progress, the top award went to Julianne Moore.
(snip)Award for best wardrobe malfunction: another tie. Between Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Dockery. Although in both cases it was more pilot error than actual malfunction.(snip)
In Michelles case, well lets just say she didnt wish to get typecast as the uptight, prim and proper Lady Mary Crawley she plays in Downton Abbey.
Mission accomplished.
Now, since were focusing on black silk bodices, lets jump right to the worst dressed of the evening: that distinction goes to Sigourney Weaver(snip)
(snip)Worst hair award; yet another tie! Between January Jones and Alec Baldwin.(snip)And had he known he was going to win he would have either had his temples touched up or his toupee sent out for few gray highlights.
And finally, my winner in the best dressed category: hands down, Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables) in navy blue Zac Posen. Gorgeous.
(snip)As for who actually won the awards for their performances, well to quote the wise woman of the hour: What difference does it make. Read the Rest Here>>>
Is that shoe box under Sigourney Weaver’s tunic part of the dress, or is she taking a pet for a walk?
Nice dress on Amanda Seyfried. I just bought a new suit in that shade of navy.
I recently got an HDTV and, watching “30 Rock,” it’s amazing to see how shoe polish-like dye Baldwin uses in his hair and on his eyebrows.
I’m sick & went to bed early & I loved this post! Thanks. I also enjoyed your comments which made me laugh out loud. my husband’s hard & fast rule is, “Don’t show any cleavage.” I have to say I agree. He’s a little uptight, but some people could use a little more uptightness in their dressing!
On seeing the photo of the Mooch, I thought, “wow. Talk about sag.”
