A secret arsenal of guns and ammunition hidden in the wake of the Dunblane massacre have been found stashed behind a false wall by a builder renovating a house.
Builder Simon Berni, 41, was shocked to discover a secret haul of more than 30 shotguns and pistols as well as hundreds of rounds of ammunition when he began working on a south Wales property. He said: 'It was an incredible arsenal - full, absolutely choc-a-bloc with eight shelves of fire arms and ammunition.'
----------------cut---------------------------- The guns were wrapped in newspaper dated March 1996 - just days after the Dunblane massacre in which 16 children were shot dead. Police believe the guns were unregistered and their owner hid them out of fear of losing them when strict new firearms laws were brought in following the Dunblane shootings.
This is the result that President Obama and the "Progressives" want. They do not want to go door to door confiscating guns. They just want to make them illegal so that 40 years from now, when your nephew finds them, he will be "shocked" and will dutifully turn them in to police; terrified that he might somehow be held responsible for their presence.
It is not the guns they hate. They enjoy having people under their personal direction, such as their personal bodyguards, or if politicians, police and military that they direct, having lots of guns.
They just do not want *you* to have them. They "only" want them to be illegal so that they can gradually destroy the Gun Culture and the spirit of independence that it supports. They hate and detest the idea that the government serves at your pleasure, and not you at their pleasure.
That is what civilian disarmament is all about.

I hope so.
When the government tries to take away a right that is written in the Constitution , and has been the law of the land for over 200 years it is time to fight.
They are worried about people getting killed and they are setting up a war. WTF is wrong with these people?
Aha! So that’s why the good ole boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye, singing “This’ll be the day that I die”.
We’ve seen this happen time after time over the last 100 years. We know the script.
I haven’t given up hope that my children will have an America to live in.
“That is what defeated Australia, England, and it will probably defeat us.”
The spirit of rebellion has never lived in the heart of “subjects” of the queen.
And the first few examples will probably ignite something you never want to see happen here. (and i mean that sincerely) The only thing worse than that would be to unilaterally disarm in the face of Obamas revolutionary government.
I know the nervous nellies here think we will turn them in, and maybe you will. I know the Democrat party is part of the internationalist left. They think because aussie and Brits turned them in, that of course, we will too.
Both of you are wrong. The revolutionary war saw 3% of Americans take up arms. But ill be generous. Lets say 0.3% of Americans say “screw it, it’s time”.
Thats 375,000 of the most highly motivated and skilled shooters the world has likely ever seen. And they arent in ranks and rows re-enacting Picketts Charge. They are here, there, everywhere, and nowhere. And is one within 1000 yards of one of the oppressors?
But lets even be more pessimistic and pussified. Lets say only 0.03 % resist. How does 37,500 careful snipers and ambushers sound? Does anyone remember how 2 idiots with an old Chevy and one rifle basically paralyzed the east coast for a few weeks? Multiply that by 30,000 and be sickened. They were shooting at random. What if only oppressors and their masters were the targets? (as has happened in civil wars all around the globe? As is happening in Mexico tonight?)
And if you catch one, he has no orders, no leader, no membership in some “3rd Tennessee Volunteers”. You can electrocute his nuts off, and he cannot tell you where another cell is. He simply doesn’t know!
Because you see,,, he was “An Army of one”.
“But what about after you have died naturally, and your grandkids are asked for them?”
It’s like global warming. Worrying about that after i dies is a silly waste of time. I give my kids the best values i can, pass along the tools they need, and ensure that i do not bequeathe them a dictatorship.
Then it’s up to them. I can’t wipe their butts from the grave.
If they get a case of the fainting vapors and call the authorities to come get the arsenal, i hope they enjoy the concentration camps.
I don’t get it. There appear to be some nice shotguns there. Those were not even banned in the UK, were they?
Well said.
Ted Kaczynski disagrees.
Leaderless resistance. can be very effective.
Imagine 10,000 right wing Kaczynskis. Or even 1000. Plus Kaczynski was egotist. He just had to have to his 'manifesto' published which is why he got caught. Patriots won't be so foolish.
Shotguns were required to be registered some years later. Then the requirements needed to register a shotgun were tightened.
Those shotguns were never registered, so they are now contraband.
Gun Registration is Gun Confiscation

Plus, if a small percentage push back hard enough, others will join...everyone wants someone else to lead the way.
If they were stashed right after Dunblane, it was before the law was passed. So the guy who stashed them probably didn’t know what was going to be banned and hid his whole collection.
Of course not, nor would I. I mention these examples only as an alternative strategy and to show what one lone individual can accomplish. Targeting innocents is for cowards and for islamists; it would only strengthen the government's position. If you haven't already done so you should read Unintended Consequences by John Ross. Bombs aren't the only tool for leaderless resistance.
It looks to me that the police probably did that to the guns. The article says they were wrapped in newspaper when found.
