This is true. I worked at a Walmart before. All ordering is computer generated. That little handheld thing you see employees carrying around can tell you everything about the item just by scanning the UPC. It's called a telxon.

Agree. I bought two boxes of 45 ACP on Friday.One was Federal Premium low recoil #20, and; the other was PDXI DEFENDER 230 grain #20.

How long did you last there? I made it 9 months. I was in the Meat Dept. (No jokes) One of the most popular things we had were the white 10 lb boxes of hamburger patties.

For a while, we were just out of them. I'd show them the Telxon, saying 'Warehouse Out.'.

Well, can't you get some from the other store?(Two Walmarts in town.)

They have the same distributor as we do, so they're out as well. I'll be glad to call the Meat Manager there, and let you talk to him.
