Mass hysteria grips a substantial percentage of Americans after a trajedy, and reason and cool-headedness go out the window. It’s an inability to reason and to think clearly. It’s a quick knee-jerk reaction after mass media saturation convinces the small-minded that there IS A CRISIS.
I am sure there is something with some kind of terrorist or money laundering law that allows them to do this.
The solution is to deposit their money into more than one bank.
