I once practiced to become a magician. I’m no good at it but I remember the overriding principle of misdirection. Never let the audience focus on what you’re doing. Change the focus with a flourish of a scarf, a scantily clad assistant or the famous smoke and mirrors.

The furor about gun control has me wondering about to what end are we being played? What is the Left really up to? What’s really going on.

We are being played with all of this. There will be new legislation but that’s not what this noise is all about.

The Left has always wanted to confiscate our guns. They know we will use them against them, and their ultimate goal of a New World Order under their tyranical stewardship, however as the major tool for the New World Order goal of the Leftist organization is the U.N., AGW, Agenda 21, and the ICLEI. Everything else such as gun grabbing is icing on the cake to them, therefore expendible for that goal.

Diversion is very possibly to keep we frogs from noticing the heat increasing in the pot on that particular burner of their stove.

The fight now for gun control, and the fight in the aftermath of any action taken by the Left will consume the news media almost entirely as they quietly continue to proceed instilling new Agenda-21 laws in localities throughout the United States through their ICLEI efforts.

As the Amazon Rainforest gig failed them dearly in days of yore, AGW is failing them currently, and they need a cover for their illicit activities. Gun Control is the ideal cover for them today.

The show Spooks, known at MI5 in the US, has some episodes surrounding Operation Sugarhorse. The Brits planted long term sleeper cells in Russia. The operatives names are divided between handlers so no one handler has them all.

But Russia had planted even longer term sleeper cells in Britain across many and varied governmental agencies.

I have no doubt that sleeper cells have been planted in the US. Barack Obama may be one of them.

If you are ready to speculate about the purpose of kicking over the hornets nest as a misdirection ploy, you’d better be ready to acknowledge the role of purposeful acts of misdirection that have shaped government policies going back to ‘Remember the Maine’.

I agree.

However, when the economy is so bad with inflation that must come with the devaluation of the dollar, there will be shortages and people will become angry when the food becomes scarce. The public dole programs will not have food, either. The government will then start to impose more and more restrictions on our activities, and they will mandate additional actions on the part of the citizenry. People will become angry and revolt, first by marches in the street.

The government will use this as an impetus to remove weapons under the theories of “reading the riot act” and such, which will be argued is a reason to circumvent the US Constitution completely.

It is all tied together.

Since few of us are economists, we do not know what we are seeing right in front of our faces. We see the facts before us, but we do not understand just how truly we are in danger as a society.

It will end in only one way, as it has throughout history - in war. The great institutions of democracy and our nation will be destroyed and it will be for us to pick up the pieces and rebuild.

Remember that the greatest of the civil rights is the right to self-defense, for it allows us all the other rights, including the right to freedom of speech, religion, travel, association, due process, the right of contract, access to the judicial system which recognizes those rights, and all the rest.

If they take the guns away and ignore the Constitution in so doing, how will this be any different than interning the people of Japanese ancestry in WWII for “national security?”

The battle is being fought right now in the Mideast. I know because the news organizations refuse to report on events occurring there. This is how my friends in the old Soviet Union interpreted events - by what was not in the news that should have been there.
