Never thought of that before but he’s right. Buy “BACK” is a subtile propoganda phrase.
Seattle just announced a gun “buy back” program.
I have a spare handgun at home. I suppose if they were to offer me market value for it I’d consider turning it over, but since they’re offering a whopping $50 I guess I’ll be keeping it.
Do these buffoons understand that the weapons they get will be broken, useless lumps of metal that wouldn’t have harmed anyone anyway? The bad guys certainly aren’t going to have a stroke of conscience and sell their arms, and nobody with a brain is going to part with a decent firearm for a measly $50.
There was a recent article about a buy-back program somewhere where an old widow turned in an old WW-I or II vintage firearm that was a classic. Fortunately for her, and a credit to the LEO’s who were conducting the program, after its inspection, they ultimately gave it back to her because of its value........
Getting the public to accept the term “buyback” is their main goal.It sounds fair to them and is great propaganda. So when it’s time to confiscate firearms, the term “buyback” will mean FORCED buyback....
So what were the 30 “valuable” firearms that were saved? The site doesn’t mention it....
I wonder if the Nazis paid the Jews travel expenses to the concentration camps.
