Does this include rice ? Because I eat white rice about a quarter of the time, complements of a healthy Chinese takeout menu. And my b/f is Japanese besides, the skinniest, longest lived people alive.

“there seems to be different types of metabolism among people,”-—to lose weight limit yourself to less than 50g carbs a day...less than 20g is better but more restrictive. Happily the weight comes off faster at less than 20g carbs so it is for only a short period of time... so that would count out rice..ha

Natives of El Salvador who live in the United States are the longest lived people in the US ~ lawyers are second!
The El Salvadorans seem to be of substantial Japanese background probably having been brought here direct from Japan in the debris fields of numerous tsunamis over the millenia.
So, first of all it's genes ~ and secondly, it's guile!
Noteworthy ~ Salvadorans like to eat bean/rice sandwiches ~ on white bread. Lawyers prefer tunafish and mayo on rye.

When I make stir fry I substitute shredded cooked cabbage for rice. Yummy.
