The real question is this: How will we excise the parasite from the host? I fear it will not be without bloodshed.

I am terrified as to what my sons will grow up to experience. They are only 8 and 10 and I see nothing in today’s society that says they will NOT be seen as targets for the rest of their lives.

Would it necessarily have to be done with bloodshed? What about some form of Going Galt? Could we starve off the parasite by cutting off its food supply.... stop feeding it, so-to-speak. The trick would be to figure out a way to do that and the hardest part would be to trust that there are still enough producers with the courage and will power to do without most things we have come to enjoy having.
