Sorry to hear it... But the majority will have to appeal to Obama. He can save them.
Call Shep Smith. He will be all over this ... won’t he?
bttt
After numerous reports of hostility from Union thugs from help sent - and that region’s continuous lofting of Obama as Dictator over us all - why should we subject ourselves to their contempt and willful spitting on our aid?
They do not want our help - and if they do - they want it on their terms (money robbed from us by government and redistributed).
Let them pray to Obama and the Unions whom they have made as their gods to help them.
“But the majority will have to appeal to Obama. He can save them.”
Only if they have official Obama prayer rugs and pray 5 times a day facing Chicago
What are Bloomberg and Andrew doing for the area?
Wasn’t Obama in SI last week promising them the moon and stars?
I would support the Salvation Army.
The people of Staten Island tend to vote Republican. I promise you there is no way the Knights of Columbus on Staten Island voted for Obama. The Knights are one of the most pro-life groups in the country. It is group filled with good, God fearing family men.
I will send the Knights a check. Thanks for posting.
I should add that I understand your anger. It’s the same anger I am feeling towards a liberal Obama voting family member (Catholic nun) who does some very good work in the inner city. Every Christmas she tells us of a specific need and we have been very generous. This year we’re telling her we’re saving our money to pay for the tax increases. Truth is, I’m now going to send to the Knights on Staten Island what we’d have spent on her mission.
Thank you. I copied and pasted in an email to myself, so I won’t lose the page. Staten Island is one of the few largely Republican districts in the area (not that that matters so much in times like these). These are solid, hard-working folks who need a hand. I will do what I can.
Sorry. If Staten Island wants help they should look to Obama.
They voted for him to be their savior then so be it.
How charming your response is.
In case you don’t know, Staten Island votes Republican. For years, they have been trying to divorce themselves from New York City. I’m donating to the Knights - a very conservative organization.
Operation Blessing is the only one I support these days.
SA pays half a million a year to the chair.
How can I donate food items? I’m about 20 miles from Staten Island.
I agree. I don’t consider New York (and several other states) part of America anymore. Let them go elsewhere.
I’m sure here and there, are a few decent folks amidst the storm trooping Marxofascists worshipping the state.
That said - I’m done and tired of the ridicule and condescension from the Northeast. That and derision during our multiple disasters here in the Southeast and the rejection of help sent by our people due the Union Goons and other trash - has made me realize that if you are stuck behind enemy lines - GET OUT. We cannot afford to help them any more.
They are on their own. Let them pray to the State and their messiah for sustenance, aid and help when they need it.
They certainly laugh and scoff at us during our times of trial and continuously wish us dead or imprisoned or silenced because of our values and lifestyles down here.
If we can demand ‘moderate Muslims’ speak out against Jihadists or be counted among them during the debates over the War on Terror in the last decade - I don’t see why we cannot apply that same principle to decent folks living among the enemy.
Setting an example of charity in those regions seems to only embolden the demands for more charity and welfare being stolen by the point of a gun to our heads. No one is converting to the values of Conservative Christianity in those areas by our generosity. Instead it breeds contempt and more demands the state take from us to give to them.
Yes, I’m angry - the actions of their ‘leaderships’ various, solidified my justifiable comments about the fact we need to look to our ‘own’ household of faith and values from now on.
Until such time as there is repentance and a request for forgiveness.
Which I highly doubt would come from them.
Are you sure about that? You may be thinking of The Red Cross.
