What kind of taxes are on medical equipment now?
I don’t know the details of the current tax system of that industry, however I’ve never read complaints in news articles posted of the existing taxation contrary to that which will become effective with the forthcoming PPACA law.
This article outlines only a few of the new taxes on medical devices in the new law. Perhaps only because so many of the other taxes are shared by many industries.
Don’t forget about the BIG one coming soon, and I don’t mean the end of the Bush era tax cuts, but the VAT the Democrats are also working on. THAT will come along soon enough.
