Can the GOP win another Presidential election after its candidate Mitt Romney lost against President Obama?

While that was not the question raised by a recent poll and a discussion of that poll by a well-respected pollster, the issue can reasonably be asked by those reviewing the numbers.

You are correct.

Perhaps what we should be asking is “Can a Conservative win ever win the GOP Nomination (much less the Presidency)?”

I think the center has been driven so far left that we don’t have a chance.

Pubs have basically been stupid.

for decades, the liberals have infiltrated and taken over the education system and raised children to be wards of the state.

that’s why they fight school vouchers and the government allows government workers to unionize. that in itself is the recipe for destruction of the American way of life.

the communists/fascists have taken over the entertainment industry, and people look up to them, idolize them (sic) and give them legitimacy, even those that are dumber than striesand.

furthermore, we do not need middle of the roaders running for office, we do not need compromise, we need conquest. tea party fits the bill.

the next four years will be devastating for the country. end up a banana republic.

in the long term, the public has to be re-educated. the Constitution is not a bad thing. freedom is a good thing.

The Bill of Rights are a good thing.

if we are going to win, we have to adhere to right-wing conservative stands, not compromising with commies or fascists, and making the constrasts plain and simple to understand.

blessings, bobo

The only way to beat the DNC (Don’t Nail my Check) party is in three steps
1) Conservatives must fight to stop voter fraud. Whatever it takes, if it means door to door to root out fraud so be it.
2) Conservatives must decide to either take over the Republican Party or form their own.
3) We must run conservative candidates in the next three elections and test the path to victory.
4) Our presidential candidate must not be Democrat light but conservative

Why would there ever be another election?

America is through!

Obama sought to destroy it, and now he will.

Can the GOP win an election? Sure. Conservatives can’t though.

Just look at Britain which is even more of a Socialist nation than we are. Every so often, Labour screws up so badly that the Tories win. The Tories aren’t conservatives though.

Same will happen here. Once in a very great while, the Dems will run someone so corrupt and so incompetent that the GOP will win.

The winner won’t be a conservative though. They will simply be a caretaker until the true Socialist can resume power four years later.

Anyone ever get the feeling that it was all a big show, and that the Democrats and Republicans are all part of the same corrupt system that wants to destroy our liberty?

All the time!

We will win future presidential elections as long as we as a party come down on immigration sometime soon and before 2024 when Texas and Arizona will be toss-up or Democratic states.

If noting is down about immigration, the party will not be able to win elections after 2024.

You make a good point. Here’s a little secret, a dirty one. Governments of Man are corrupt, and their time is about up.

I called the GOP in Raleigh several times offering help and was told someone would call me back—still waiting. It is hard to win if you don’t try and impossible with unchecked fraud.

” - - - DO YOU THINK THE GOP CAN WIN ANOTHER PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION? “

No.

The GOP will continue to lose Presidential Elections, and the coat tail House and Senate elections as long as they run their wanna-be Democrat RINOs.

Rubio is a perfect loser for 2016 because he is a “wanna-be Democrat amnesty to illegal aliens from Mexico” proponent.

Ryan is also a perfect loser in 2016 because NONE of his “Ryan Budget” cut any spending year to year.

Perry loses because of support for amnesty to illegal alien Mexicans, and his brain-dead, Vampire Capitalism comments.

Pick a peck of perfect RINOs and the GOP will continue to lose Elections for the same reasons that Dole, McCain and Romney lost: THEY WERE REPUBLICANS IN NAME ONLY!

BTW, the GOP eventually will have to ask: “Why does the GOP still exist as a Political Party?”

Nobody out here in Flyover Country has a clue as to why the GOP hasn’t folded years ago.

I have already asked that! There is no point to the GOP anymore-besides the obvious lacking core convictions and purpose . They, now also, allow the Democrats to blatantly commit voter fraud and steal elections --more than likely this presidential election. Who in their right mind wants to set themselves up for this kind of disappointment again in four years? Do they suddenly think the Democrats will stop the voter fraud and allow them to win?

We can never win nationally again unless we neutralize and take down the one party media.

We need a wildcard in 2016. No MORE WASHINGTON POLS. I’m talking a serious out of left field pick like a General or an Actor, or a football star. Clint Eastwood, Dennis Miller, Bart Starr, Oliver North.

No, I think that both parties have seen this crash coming as an inevitable byproduct of national decay, and that they've known we were doomed for 22 years, so they've been grabbing everything they can before the end. People kowtow to Obama because he has the keys to the BIG fallout shelter.

Who are the 90 million eligible to vote yet DID NOTE VOTE? Who are these people?

Can’t speak for all of them, but there were probably a couple or three million Ron Paul supporters and libertarians who were told by the RNC (and a lot of people here) that they weren’t needed or wanted. There was a small chance that I could have held my nose to vote for romney until he pulled his little night of the long knives at the convention. The SOB didn’t even need to cheat but he just wanted to prove to us that he could and get away with it.
