Why does the left encourage drive-by fathering? To destroy the family. (A goal of communism.) In communism, the family must go because the family is the main way that values are passed down from one generation to the next. In communism, the collectivity is the only one who has a right to pass on values.

A better solution would be to disenfranchise people who make babies on the government dole. Currently those people trade their votes for the privilege to be sexually irresponsible on someone else’s dime. Take away what they have to offer unscrupulous politicians, and the game is over.

A hundred years ago, black children were predominantly born in wedlock and were raised in two-parent families, and there was no talk about "legacy of slavery".
The crucial difference between then and now, is that there was no welfare then. A single mom had to either work to support herself and the kid, or give the kid up for adoption. This was a large disincentive against sex outside marriage.
That’s a good point. (My #40 was sarcasm - I actually favor the elimination of all government handouts for everyone.)
This is fairly common in that wonderful glorious ghetto known as the “Hood”. Though not exclusive, it is pretty much a “Black Thang”.
Sad thing is this babydaddy & babymama thang is spreading to the Latino neighborhoods and next into the white neighborhoods.
