For the last couple of days Ive been observing the Benghazi hearings and the negotiations going on with Boehner and Democratic leaders to prevent us from going off a fiscal cliff. It appears the left cares more about politicizing events to advance the agenda of their political party than doing whats right and good for America and Im personally tired of it. Benghazi is a no-brainer.
After seven hours of fighting and numerous requests for help, we failed to answer the call and left our citizens to die in the streets of Benghazi. This alone is absolutely unacceptable, but what made it worse was the President misleading the American people by telling us it was a spontaneous event caused by some obscure video. We now have learned that top White House officials knew this was a terrorist attack within 24 hours and yet the President along with Susan Rice consciously mislead the American people about the attack. How does this not break through partisan walls? How does this not resonate with any American regardless of party affiliation? Four Americans died and a sitting President tried to cover it up and its being politicized by the left. Theres right and wrong and the senseless death of four Americans is wrong no matter how you try to spin it. Wheres the courage to do the right thing and fire everyone who not only failed to act and save these four brave souls, but those who chose to mislead the American people? What we have are Democrats putting party and President ahead of country and it makes me sick. John Boehner is just as bad in regards to negotiating with Democratic leaders over extending the Bush tax rates.
In my opinion this is how its going to play out. John Boehner is going to put on a show for us all. Hes going to take it to the zero hour and then tell us he got the best deal he could. He fought long and hard and got the Democrats to agree on future spending cuts (which will never happen) and then hes going to agree to an increase of tax rates on those who create jobs. These are the same people the left calls rich. I call them job creators because a large number of them are small business owners. Heres a tip Speaker Boehner, we dont have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem. Raising the tax rate on the upper three percent will not solve our fiscal problems. It will make them worse. But because the Democrats were so successful in their class warfare rhetoric and because Boehner is such a weak ineffective Speaker of the House he will cave in and destroy whats left of the Republican Party. And the sad truth is with a $16 trillion national debt and no budget on the horizon weve already gone off the fiscal cliff and all were doing now is watching Boehners political theater play out as Rome burns. If Boehner caves in on this issue, he must go as Speaker of the House because if he doesnt come 2014 Republicans will lose the House in a big way. They will also lose my support forever and I will look to third party candidates who stand for limited government and the restoration of individual liberties. And I won’t care one bit if my choice hurts the Republican Party. I encourage all of you to contact your elected representative with this same promise.
Its time to hold these phony conservatives accountable for their actions. And its also time to stop politicizing the Benghazi event, because these four brave Americans that died deserve better from their nation. Its time to do the right thing on both fronts.
Liberty forever, freedom for all!
Can’t disagree with any of that!
Boehner will probably be the one who limits investigating Benghazi.
Cantor was on Greta last night and he certainly didn’t seem reassuring that we could investigate Benghazi, until we find the truth.
He danced all around having a special investigation. It was weak sister.
It is a very ugly weakness when contrasted to the background of men laying atop a building, painting the enemy, waiting for their country to back them up, give them cover...they die fighting, holding the fort and their country does chit NOTHING.
Nobody ever comes.
Look at what our country did to their own citizens, look at our ball-less generals. They would rather have adoration and a blow job than to lead our troops and do what is right.
I think anyone serving in a government job should be barred from writing a book. We have no budget but how many of our elected have a book? I am sick of their egos.
Even my beloved DeMint has a book.
It’s past time to do the right thing
Lets pretend that Boehner was utterly compromised, and subject to blackmail by the Democrats. Compromised and owned, they tell him how he is going to do his job, and tell him that he is only to simulate opposition to Democrat policy. Would it look in any way different than the job that he has done as Speaker?
“Would it look in any way different than the job that he has done as Speaker?....”
Of COURSE he’s utterly compromised. The last Republican Speaker that actually wielded the power of the Office was Newt Ginrich.......kooky what happened to old Newty.....Wound up having to resign!!!!
In DC it is always all about the Wimmin, the boys or the offshore bank accounts...and the pictures of it all....and who has those pictures and where they might wind up. That sort is stuff is the currency of trade in DC. The value of each Congresscritter’s “portfolio” rises and falls with his committee seats, leadership, positions , and his mouth.
I was reading an interview with Peter Hitchens the other day. He was discussing the effects of the de facto legalization of drugs in the UK. Asked what he thought the way out of the mess would be:
“I have absolutely no hope at all. There is no point in suggesting practical steps. It would be quite easy do, but I have no influence whatsoever upon mainstream politics in this country. All I’m doing now is recording my nation’s decline so that when it finally sinks giggling into the sea people will be able to read what actually happened.”

I’m not in despair after Obama won a second term, but there does come a point where futility sets in concerning influencing human government. Like realizing, after sincere effort in good faith, you’ve been had. Even your own supposed side doesn’t care what you think, nor do they want change. They’ve grown fat giving suck at the Mother of Many Teets (fedgov).

Doesn't take much imagination there!
Didn’t want to believe Obozo could possibly be reelected - now I’m less inclined to doubt anything that entails betrayal of trust.
” In DC it is always all about the Wimmin, the boys ...”
If the truth of the fall of America is ever known we will find pedophilia played a major role.
Sadly, I have learned not to look for heroism, or even ethics out of DC. I hope I am proven wrong.
